We offer referral or second opinion appointments for dogs, cats, horses, ponies, goats, donkeys, rabbits and other species, for Veterinary Acupuncture (Equine Acupuncture, Canine Acupuncture, Feline Acupuncture etc.), Veterinary Herbal Medicine (Herbs, Phytotherapy), Veterinary Homeopathy (Homoeopathy), Veterinary Holistic Treatment, Chiropractic Manipulation, Back Treatment, Aromatherapy (Essential Oils), Schuessler Tissue Salts, LASER, Ultrasound, Natural Medicine etc.
Christopher Day has more than 38 years of experience in the field. He is also active in clinical research, teaching and writing.
Dogs, cats and other 'small' animals are seen at the AVMC but we also offer house calls (home visits) in the UK, for these species.
Horses, ponies, farm animals and other 'large' animals are seen at their homes, more or less anywhere in the UK.
Therapies offered include: Acupuncture, Homeopathy, Herbal Medicine (Herbalism, Herbs), Chiropractic Manipulation, Natural Feeding, Back Treatment, LASER Therapy, Bach Flowers, Schuessler Tissue Salts etc.
Conditions commonly presented include: Epilepsy, CDRM, DJD, OCD, Spavin, Tendon Injury, Myoglobinuria, Setfast, COPD, PID, IVDD, Back Problems, Back Pain, Arthritis, Moonblindness (Recurrent Uveitis, Periodic Ophthalmia, ERU), Laminitis, Navicular, Syndrome, Paralysis, Nerve injury, Cruciate Injury (Cruciate Ligament), Pelvis Problems, Pelvic Misalignment, Elbow Dysplasia, Head shaker (Headshaking, Head Shaking), Syringomyelia, Corneal Ulcer, Gastric Ulcer, Hip Dysplasia and difficult wounds.
A recently started long-term internal audit has provided data relating to owner-assessed outcomes of treatments at the AVMC. It is an ongoing process, which means that updates of outcome data will become available from time to time. See the list of .pdf documents below 'Outcome Study'.
